The Ongoing Nakba

Lubnah Shomali

“The Ongoing Nakba” is terminology coined by BADIL to describe the legal and political situation in Palestine which is a consequence of a colonial and apartheid regime created by Israel to dominate and oppress the Palestinian people. The presentation consists of BADIL’s comprehensive rights-based approach to the Question of Palestine, according to international law, with a focus on forced population transfer, refugees and internally displaced persons, and the failure of the international community to address the protection gap.
