A CONVERSATION WITH SUSAN ABULHAWA

RECORDING AVAILABLE HERE

Middle East Peace Now is pleased to welcome Palestinian-American author and human rights activist Susan Abulhawa for a candid and in-depth conversation about her work as a writer, her personal history, and her passionate work for Palestinian rights. Susan exemplifies Shakespeare’s wisdom that the pen is mightier than the sword. Through her novels and poetry, she shows that fiction can be as powerful as non-fiction in creating the empathy and compassion required to bring change.

Susan Abulhawa has written three successful novels, including Mornings in Jenin, The Blue Between Sky and Water, and Against the Loveless World.  She lives in Pennsylvania.
