Justice Cannot Exclude Palestinian Citizens of Israel
Sandra Tamari

9:30am social
10:00am presentation & discussion

This talk by Sandra Tamari will focus on the history, politics and demands of Palestinians who remained in the territories known as ’48 Palestine (Palestinian Citizens of Israel) and will delve into Israeli claims of being a democracy while privileging the rights of Jewish people around the world. The talk will also look at Israeli policies on both sides of the Green Line to illustrate the goal of erasure of Palestinians regardless of their location. Finally, Sandra will present Israel’s passage of the Nation State Law last summer as a crisis with opportunity for effective advocacy for Palestinian rights.
